Dr Priyanka Verma

Introduction

• Dr Priyanka has done MBBS from the renowed King George’s Medical University Lucknow and has completed her MD in pediatrics from G.S.V.M medical college Kanpur. She pursued her FNB in Pediatric Hemato-Oncology with specialization in Clinical Hematology from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre Delhi. She was also trained in bone marrow transplantation during her superspeciality residency

• Her key areas of expertise lies in treating acute leukemias, hodgkin and non-hodgkin lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic, myeloproliferative syndromes, aplastic anemia, thalassemia and other benign hematological conditions. She is also involved in the care of all hematological and solid tumors of childhood.

• She was awarded the Young researcher scholarship in PHOCON 2015 for research work titled “Outcome in children and adolescents with osteosarcoma with high dose methotrexate based regimen”
